A better way to board an aircraft

If you board via a single door at the front of the fuselage it is almost inevitable that on-route to your seat you will be held up by one or more people ahead of you placing their bags in the overhead lockers. To halve your ‘baggage-loading encounters’ all the aircraft manufacturers need to do is move the boarding door to the middle of the fuselage – you’ll then go either left or right and only have to travel a maximum of half a fuselage length to get to your seat and hence encounter half of the dithering idiots loading their baggage.
