The King of Kong
Today I managed to see The King of Kong which was showing as part of the film festival.
Best. Film. Ever. Sorry, the most entertaining film I’ve seen in a long time (it must have been the endorphins talking with that original statement).
You probably have to have seen it to understand but today was the last showing so keep an eye out for it if it ever makes it to other cinemas or your local video shop.

Oh, it’s out on DVD, and the extras are excellent, you should definitely check it out! It’s on Netflix even.
And New Line’s working on a fictional comedy remake, too.
And yesterday, Wiebe was at Twiistup 4 trying to reclaim the record! Yesterday also marked the day that the official Picturehouse forums for the movie shut down (it’s unrelated, Picturehouse itself is going away, so ALL their forums have been closed now).
I agree with you, it is an amazingly entertaining film, and one of the few DVDs I’ve actually purchased this year.

Ah, that’s good news; my wife wasn’t able to make it and wants to watch it so I’ll check at the local DVD store. Thanks!
