Grandma

grandma

Patricia Peterson, the woman who accounts for a quarter of my genes, died peacefully on Friday night at the age of 91. She was a wonderfully strong spark of a woman who, whilst let down by her body, was in full command of her faculties right up to the end. I’m privileged to have known her and proud to be her grandson.

  1. Sounds like she was a wonderful woman to know and love. Deepest condolences,

  2. My deepest sympathies. Losing a loved one is always very difficult, often surprisingly so. In western society, we are taught that we should “get a grip” and that we should “get over it”. But grieving the loss of your grandmother and reflecting on her life and what she meant to you is the greatest tribute you could possibly offer. Savor even these raw, painful moments and share them with others to whom she was dear. And then keep her fond memories with you always.

Thoughts are with you & yours mate.

One postitive – long life is in the genes!

PS: Oh yeah, thanks for input on my music blog.
