3 News

Let me know when 3 News gets rid of their intensely annoying and distracting touch-screen graphic system and I’ll switch back again. There’s just no need for it.

    Yeah the fake touchscreen IS annoying.

    But not as annoying as the weather taking over more and more of One News each and every day, like a steadily advancing virus. I want the news, not the weather. One News starts with the weather, has a quick check in at 6.30 and then a way too long ACTUAL weather segment at 6.50.

    True true. I’ve been bitching about that very issue too for a while now. Perhaps news via the Internet with a good adblocker really is the way of the future.

    It is nice to settle into the couch with a cold beer at 6 though.

    I don’t really watch the news anymore, most of it isn’t interesting. The NZ Herald website rss feeds do a good enough job keeping me up to date with the world I think :)
